Hi, I am Tobias Arweiler.

I'm a freelance software engineer specializing in web technologies like React, Next.js, Node and Typescript.

I also have experience with leading agile dev teams, working with UX designers, project managers and product owners.

I also host the podcast Code & Conquer, where I talk about bootstrapping businesses with indie hackers.

My Career

Short and concise for you

I studied Business Computer Science as Bachelor’s degree, before doing a Master’s in Applied Computer Science, while working as a Java Software Engineer.

Then I feel in love with React and became a frontend developer, working for a startup and a UX agency where I learned a lot about UX design, working the agile way and leading people.

I started to build my own projects in this time, I call it indie hacking. You might also know it as bootstrapping. I have a podcast about it, if you’re interested. And since February of 2022, you can hire me as freelance software engineer for your projects. I have also founded a company - the Ctrl Shift Enter UG - with my significant other.

With the years, I have become more and more invested in leading others and communicating properly, so I have obtained certifications in Systemic Coaching (IHK) and Team Coaching (ECA) which I’m using to create happy and efficient dev teams that actually like their work and their coworkers.
